Learn to draw with the Sewing Machine!
In this lesson, we will be learning to use freehand machine embroidery foot on a domestic sewing machine. Simply draw a picture on your fabric and sew around your drawing to produce a freehand embroidered picture, get a taster of something different and you could be producing something like the picture below. You can bring scraps of fabrics of your own to use on your picture.
We have 5 sewing machines so you will need to get there on time to bag your machine… If you cannot bag a machine we have more wonderful crafts for you to try! We have a crèche for the little ones so it lets you spend time creating but the best thing about these classes they are completely FREE!
A child minder is provided on site – FREE!
Registration is required for this event – you can do this by popping into the Centre during our office opening hours, or just pop in on the day.
