Expanding our free Wednesday yoga sessions

Warm Space yoga at St Hugh's

We’re delighted to be supported into 2024 by Clarion Housing’s Warm Space scheme.

It means we’re able expand our free Wednesday yoga sessions with a new 9am intermediate vinyasa yoga session starting in January, alongside our chair-based yoga sessions for people with limited mobility, and our gentle mat-based hatha yoga sessions.

  • 9AM vinyasa yoga starting Jan 2024 – intermediate level – open to those wanting to explore flow yoga. We will combine powerful yang and restorative yin to find your practice at your own pace
  • 10AM Chair-based yoga accessible for limited mobility – a supported way to explore the connection of mind, body & breath
  • 11.15AM Hatha yoga – open level – a grounding practice that combines gentle movement, focused balances and supported transitions

Wednesday mornings at St Hugh’s Centre, 42 Castledine Road

Please arrive 5 minutes before the class begins. We have a very limited number of mats available to use – please bring your own mat if you have one and are attending either vinyasa or hatha classes.

Suggest an activity

The hall is available for hire to run events and classes – if you have something particular you’d like to see, then let us know and we’ll do our best to find someone to deliver it. Even better, if you want to run a class yourself, get in touch and we can support you in planning and getting this set up. We can even help you fundraise to cover some start-up costs.

Become a volunteer

Interested in helping us run the centre? We’d be happy to have you on board. You’ll get full training and never be left on your own. You suggest what you want to do, whether it’s help out with event catering, helping run the youth club or join the committee to help plan for the future – it’s up to you. We’ll do our best to make your experience rewarding and fun. We think using local people to help run the centre is the best way to keep control of it. We hope you agree.
